Understanding of Windows server is required.

SYMPTOM:

When installing the Ideagen Smartforms Server on Windows Server 2008R2, you receive the following error message:

“You do not have sufficient privileges to complete this installation for all users of the machine. Log on as administrator and then retry this installation.”

CAUSE:

User Account Control limits the actions of installation packages even with users that belong to the Local Administrators group.

SOLUTION:

Run the installation package from a command prompt launched using the “Run as administrator” option.
